My AP Exam Results

To view my previous post concerning AP World History, click here.

For those of you who are curious, I recently found out that I got a 3 on my AP World History exam! Even though it’s not a five, many colleges and universities will still accept a three for some credit. I’m so excited!

I know there are a lot of people who say that taking AP classes in high school is stupid, but I am in full support of them. Not only do they give you the opportunity to receive college credit, but it’s a way to challenge yourself academically. You will learn valuable lessons in time management, and your essay writing skills will definitely improve. If you’re thinking about taking an AP class, I say go for it! You can always drop out if you find that it’s too overwhelming.

Happy Summer!

Yours,

HOLLY

  1. Good for you! My son received a 3 as well. I heard (from his teacher) that it was a pretty tough exam this year, too. My son didn’t even take it for college credit–he loves history and wanted more than what was offered in the regular history class. It was a lot of work, but he’s really happy he took the class.

    1. Thank you! That’s what I love about them- you can take them for credit, or because you want to dive deeper into the subject.

  2. Yay congrats! My school did not offer AP World History, but when I was in high school I took AP US History and recieved a 3 on that as well. I totally agree with you on their importance, my AP classes were the best classes I took in high school!
