WWW Wednesdays: July 2nd

WWW WednesdaysWWW Wednesdays is a meme hosted by Should Be Reading that asks three questions:

What are you currently reading???

Right now I’m reading Dairy Queen by Catherine Gilbert Murdock. I’m not loving it, but I’m not hating it either. Hopefully it picks up a bit!

What did you recently finish reading???

This past week I finally finished reading A Prayer for Owen Meany by John Irving, which I was assigned to read over the summer for my AP English class. I cannot say enough amazing things about this book!!! It was absolutely brilliant, and I’m super excited to write a review of it!

I also finished The Summer I Wasn’t Me by Jessica Verdi. I went into this book without knowing anything about it, and at first I was a bit surprised by the subject matter- I had never read a book with a lesbian main character before. Overall I really enjoyed the story and the message that it emphasized: stay true to who you are, no matter how much other people may want you to change. Review will be posted shortly!

What do you think you’ll read next???

Probably The Beginning of Everything by Robyn Schneider. It’s on my summer TBR list and I’ve been wanting to read it for a while.

What are your answers to these questions? Let me know in the comments section below!

Yours,

HOLLY

    1. I’m super excited for it! It’s been sitting on my bookshelf for a while, but I’ve been saving it for the summer because it seems like a fun and light read. Hopefully it lives up to my expectations! Thanks for commenting! 🙂
