WWW Wednesdays: July 9th

WWW WednesdaysWWW Wednesdays is a meme hosted by Should Be Reading that asks three questions:

What are you currently reading???

Right now I’m reading Of Triton, the second book in the Syrena Legacy by Anna Banks. So far I’m really enjoying it!

What did you recently finish reading???

Earlier this past week I was reading Dairy Queen by Catherine Gilbert Murdock. I got about 120 pages into it, and I realized that I really had not desire to finish it. I wasn’t interested in the story at all, and I was basically forcing myself to read it. I decided that it made no sense for me to read a book I didn’t like when there are so many other books that I’m super excited to read. So I decided to put the book aside, which is sort of rare for me.

Instead, I picked up The Beginning of Everything by Robyn Schneider, and I completely devoured it in just over a day. It was SO GOOD. If you’re a fan of John Green’s books or even just YA contemporary fiction in general, you should definitely give this book a try. I’ll be posting a review of it shortly!

After that I finished Of Poseidon by Anna Banks. I won the third book of this series in a Goodreads giveaway, so I thought that I might as well read the whole thing! I had a few minor problems with this book, but on the whole it was a very enjoyable read. Again, a review will be up soon!

What do you think you’ll read next???

Hopefully I’ll be able to finish this mermaid marathon by reading the last book in this series, Of Neptune, next!

What are your answers to these questions? Let me know in the comments section below!

    1. Your first time visiting? Welcome to my blog! 🙂 I’m so happy I put down that book when I did, because since then I have really been on a roll with my reading! I think I’ll be a lot less hesitant to put down books in the future if I’m really not enjoying them or if it’s just not the right time for me to read them.
The Beginning of Everything was SO GOOD. Honestly, I loved it. I hope you enjoy it as well!
      Thanks for commenting! 🙂
