top ten tuesday: sequels I need to read NOW

top ten tuesdayHello wonderful people! It’s time for yet another Top Ten Tuesday, hosted by the lovely blog The Broke and the Bookish. This week the theme is Top Ten Sequels I Can’t Wait to Read. There are a lot of series that I’ve started but haven’t finished, so this list could easily be a mile long! In no particular order:

  1. Jazz by Toni Morrison (sequel to Beloved)
  2. Ruins by Orson Scott Card (sequel to Pathfinder)
  3. The Dream Thieves by Maggie Stiefvater (sequel to The Raven Boys)
  4. Stiletto by Daniel O’Malley (sequel to The Rook)
  5. This Shattered World by Amie Kaufman and Meagan Spooner (sequel to These Broken Stars)
  6. Half Wild by Sally Green (sequel to Half Bad)
  7. Clockwork Prince by Cassandra Clare (sequel to Clockwork Angel)
  8. The Girl Who Played with Fire by Stieg Larsson (sequel to The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo)
  9. Gathering Blue by Lois Lowry (sequel to The Giver)
  10. Shadow Scale by Rachel Hartman (sequel to Seraphina)

Some of these haven’t been released yet, but when they are I REALLY need to get cracking on finishing them!

What sequels do you want to read? Have you read any of the ones on my list? Let me know in the comments section below!

Yours,

HOLLY

  1. After just having read Shiver and loving it, I am really anxious to get my hands on anything written by Maggie Stiefvater! The Infernal Devices series is on my too read list too! I saw the movie for The Giver and enjoyed it, so I need to reread that and definitely read the sequel. I’m curious what it could be about. P.S. I love the new background. 🙂
