looking at 2015.

Happy New Year, everyone!

dancing gatsby

2015 is officially upon us, and I am extremely excited for what this year has the potential to bring. In June I will finally be graduating high school and in the fall I will be heading off to college. (!!!) I still can’t believe that I’m already eighteen and this new part of my life is about to begin. It’s a bit scary, to be sure, but it’s also thrilling at the same time!

As far as this blog goes, there are a few changes that I have in mind. I’m not sure to what extent I will be able to blog in college (depending on where I end up going and how busy I am) but right now I am planning to continue on as I have been doing. As usual, the normal week will look like this:

  • Sunday: quote
  • Monday: book review
  • Tuesday: Top Ten Tuesday
  • Wednesday: WWW Wednesdays
  • Thursday: book review
  • Friday: random!!
  • Saturday: usually nothing, perhaps the occasional random post

I will try to do two book reviews each week, although the further into the year we go the less time I’ll have to read- well, at least until it’s summer! If there are any posts that you would like to see, topics you would like to be discussed, or books/movies that you would like me to review, just let me know in the comments section below!

Probably the most significant change I am making is my rating system. I’ve been unhappy with the way I rate books for some time now, and I have finally decided that it is time for a change. I’ll still be rating books on a scale from 1 to 5 smileys, but what each of the smileys mean to me is going to change. Tomorrow a post will be uploaded explaining the new system in more detail, so hopefully it will make a bit more sense then!

Other than that, NutFreeNerd will continue on as usual. If you missed my goals for 2015 you can click here to read all about them, or click here to read about my participation in the Re-Read Challenge. More posts about my reading in 2014 will be posted in the near future.

As always, thank you all so much for reading this blog of mine! I never expected that so many lovely people would ever take time to read my bookish thoughts, and I would like to thank each and every one of you for doing so! *hugs*

Happy New Year!!!

Yours,

HOLLY
