WWW Wednesdays is a meme hosted by Should Be Reading that asks three questions:
What are you currently reading???
Right now I’m reading Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte. This is my first novel by any of the Bronte sisters, and the idea of this one in particular has intrigued me for quite some time. So far I’m really enjoying it!
What did you recently finish reading???
This past weekend was the tail end of my winter break from school, and fortunately I was able to get a good amount of reading done! I finished the last part of Life After Life by Kate Atkinson that I had left after New Year’s Day. It’s definitely one of those books that lingers in your mind even after you finish reading it. I feel like I’m constantly thinking about the story and trying to figure out exactly what happened at the end. It was an open-ended conclusion with a lot of different possibilities, and I keep going in circles trying to piece together what happened. I don’t think I’ll ever figure it out for sure (and I don’t think the author completely intended us to) but I’m enjoying mulling it over nonetheless. It was a fantastic read, especially for fans of WWII stories or historical fiction in general.
I also was able to finish The Five People You Meet In Heaven by Mitch Albom, which I really enjoyed as well. It’s under two hundred pages and took no time to read at all, but it was still a very powerful and meaningful story.
What do you think you’ll read next???
Hopefully I’ll be able to read another book from my physical unread TBR pile before I get too tempted to check out all the lovely library books!
