The fiesta is almost upon us, mis amigos- that is, the BLOGGIESTA! I’ve never participated in this event before, but it looks like so much fun that I couldn’t resist jumping in this time around.
What is this festivity, you ask? It’s a week-long event (from March 23-29) dedicated to blogging and getting all those blogging things done that you’ve been wanting to do forever. Behind on posts? Been dying to try out a new format or discussion topic? Now is the time to do some great blogging! There are also mini challenges, Twitter chats, and so much more! The Bloggiesta website does a much better job of explaining it than I do, so head on over there to learn more!
My goal for this blogging marathon is to schedule a lot of posts for the future. The majority of my posts are written and scheduled in advance, both because I’m really busy and it keeps me from worrying about constantly uploading every day. Here are the posts I’m hoping to write within the next week:
- 2 reviews
- 3 Top Ten Tuesday posts
- March Wrap-Up
- March Favorites
- 2 Quotes
- WWW Wednesdays for March 25th
- Discussion post
In total, that amounts to 11 posts! I’m not sure if I’ll be able to finish them all within the next week (so much homework, so little time!) but if I can complete at least have of that list then I would be very happy. I’m also planning on trying to get on track with replying to comments. I ADORE it when people comment on my posts and add to the bookish discussion, but I’m so busy that I often don’t have time to reply to them all. Hopefully this week I can work my way through them all.
I’m not quite sure if I’ll be doing any of the mini challenges, but I’ll probably be tweeting about how my week is going. Be sure to follow me @peanutfreeisme for updates!
