Top Ten Tuesday: Author Spotlight!

Some readers have found their niche in the reading world and rarely stray from that portion of the bookshelf. Not me, though- I like to read a variety of books from a bunch of different genres. Because of this, my list of favorite authors is quite long and can seem a bit random at times. This week’s Top Ten Tuesday topic from The Broke and the Bookish highlights this, as it is a list of the Top Ten Authors From Whom I’ve Read the Most Books.Β These are notΒ allΒ of my favorite authors (because some of my favorite authors just haven’t written that many books!) but it’s a good number of them.

Let’s shine the spotlight on some fantastic authors, shall we?

Some of these are from my middle school reading days (Pretty Little Liars and Sarah Dessen romances, anyone?) but they’re still really fun and enjoyable books nevertheless. And, of course, you have the Queen: J.K. Rowling! She comes out on top, as always!

What are your most-read authors? What do you think of the authors on my list? Let me know in the comments section below!

Also, if you ever want me to review any of the books you see here, just let me know!

Have a lovely day!

    1. Thanks! πŸ™‚ Pretty Little Liars is a really fun, plot-twisty series, but there are 16 books out now! I stopped at the eighth one, because it was just getting out of hand haha. I definitely recommend all of John Green’s books. My favorite of his is Looking for Alaska.

  1. I love the way you laid out your list! You’re absolutely right, the Queen (J.K. Rowling) always comes out on top! If you read TMI by Cassandra Clare, I’d really recommend her other series, The Infernal Devices. It’s easily my favourite trilogy of all time! Great list you’ve got here ❀

    1. Thanks! πŸ™‚ I’ve read the first book in the Infernal Devices series, but I haven’t finished it yet. *hides away in shame* I really need to, because everyone seems to love those books!!

    1. Thanks! πŸ™‚ Deb Caletti’s books are great, especially if you’re looking for a cute romance that still has a lot of depth to it. Besides romance, her books usually focus on other real problems, too, such as mental illness, family dynamics, and friendships.

  2. I love your graphics! πŸ™‚ Rick Riordan and Cassandra Clare would be on my list too. I didn’t realize it, but Suzanne Collins is one of my most read authors. I’ve read 8 of her books.

    1. Thanks! πŸ™‚ Actually, now that you mention it, I think Suzanne Collins should probably be on my list, too… whoops! I read her Gregor the Overlander series when I was younger, so I never had Goodreads back then to track it. Plus I read the Hunger Games series so… oh well!

  3. Great list and I love how creative you were with this week’s topic! I have yet to finish the Gone series and it’s been years since I picked up Gone. I remember liking it though haha. I also need to catch up on Sarah Dessen books! I hear so many great things about them!

    1. Thanks! πŸ™‚ The Gone series actually has an awesome ending, so if you need any motivation to finish it at least there’s that! I really enjoy Sarah Dessen’s books, or at least I did a few years when I read the majority of them. I think my favorite is The Moon and More, although I haven’t read her most recent one yet.

    Great list! πŸ™‚
