Oh, Shakespeare- how wise you are! This quote from his tragedy King Lear is short, simple, and definitely true. People often use humor to mask the harsh truth. Don’t we all, at times? That’s why I love when there are Fools in his plays, because they give the best advice in the most ridiculous, hilarious ways.
