Top Ten Tuesday: Futuristic Fiction

Top Ten Tuesday_-15

Happy Tuesday! The lovely bloggers over at The Broke and the Bookish have given us a bit more freedom with the Top Ten Tuesday theme this week, and I have decided to go with my Top Ten Pieces of Futuristic Fiction. Although science class has never been my favorite, I think that science fiction and learning about scientific theories is fascinating in literature. A large portion of the science fiction I’ve read has to do with futuristic societies, making this list very easy to write. In no particular order, my top ten are:

    1. Illuminae is so awesome! Not only is the format really unique and entertaining (it’s written in the form of interviews, graphics, documents, chat messages, etc.) but the story itself is incredibly suspenseful. Towards the end I seriously could not put it down! I hope you enjoy it if you get the chance to read it! 🙂

    1. Thanks! 🙂 I definitely agree with you about 1984. That’s one of the reasons I loved it so much– it’s very disturbing, but it’s incredibly fascinating! It’s kind of scary to think that our society could have progressed like that. Orwell has quite the imagination!
