Top Ten Tuesday: Fall 2016 TBR

foodie-facts-about-me-13

Happy Tuesday!! My favorite season has finally arrived: autumn. I love everything about this transitional season, from the crisp chill in the air to the golden hues of the foliage. In the spirit of the pumpkin-spiced season, the theme of this week’s Top Ten Tuesday is the Top Ten Books on My Fall 2016 TBR List.ย Since the semester is currently underway, I don’t have much time for reading other than what I’m assigned to read for my classes. Still, I’m hoping to get some reading in on breaks and if I have a moment or two to spare here and there. Here are some of the books that I’m hoping to read this fall:

I know I won’t be able to read all of these books in the next few months, but I would be ecstatic if I could get around to reading two or three of them.

What books are you looking forward to reading this fall? What do you think of the books on my list? Let me know in the comments section below!

Yours,

HOLLY

  1. I really like Carry On, even though I haven’t read Fangirl. It took me quite a while to stop seeing the Harry Potter similarities and see them each as their own characters.

I’ve been meaning to read the first Shades of Magic book for a while now, but I wasn’t wowed by Vicious and it’s made me a little wary.

I hope you enjoy whichever you do read next.

    1. That’s my only concern with Carry On– I love Harry Potter, but could the Simon Snow story be too much like Harry Potter? The short snippets included in Fangirl were fine, but I don’t know how I’ll feel about a whole book being like that. I guess I’ll just have to read it and see!
      Thank you! ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. A Darker Shade of Magic is awesome! I really need to read the second book in the series before I get too far behind and the third one comes out… anyways, happy reading! ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. I’d love to read Carry On and Vicious! I haven’t read anything from Rainbow Rowell or V.E. Schwab just yet, so I’d like to before the end of fall or at least, before the end of this year! Your site’s beautiful by the way! ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. Rainbow Rowell and V.E. Schwab are both incredible writers. Of the former I’ve read Eleanor & Park, Attachments, and Fangirl, and of the latter I’ve read A Darker Shade of Magic and Vicious. I recommend any and all books by them!
      Thank you so much!! ๐Ÿ™‚
