Since it’s officially autumn,  I’ve decided to make my seven facts fall-themed.

  1. Autumn is my favorite season. I adore all things relating to pumpkin spice, jumping in leaf piles, wearing cozy sweaters, and drinking excessive amounts of tea.
  2. During the chillier seasons (autumn and winter) I usually drink around two or three mugs of tea each day. Is this healthy? I have no idea. Will I continue to drink this much tea? Absolutely!
  3. 124862When I think of autumn, the first book that always come to mind is October Sky by Homer Hickam, a memoir that was later turned into a film starring Jake Gyllenhaal. Don’t worry, it’s more than just the autumnal title– there’s something about the overall setting and atmosphere of this book that exudes fall to me. Whatever the reason is, I highly recommend both this book and the film!
  4. For me, fall is also a season of candles. It seems as though I’ve inherited my mom’s love of cozy scents, because I always get the urge to light candles as soon as the leaves start taking on their golden array of colors. Apple, pumpkin, and baking scents in general are the best!
  5. I’m terrible at carving pumpkins, but I love eating roasted pumpkins seeds. Oh, the conundrum!
  6. The last time I tried to go apple picking I was informed that this particular orchard only allowed people to go picking on the weekends. Needless to say, I was incredibly disappointed.
  7. I love the smell of air in autumn, the way the leaves infuse it with their earthy scent and the crisp snap of fall makes it just chilly enough for a cardigan. There’s nothing better!

  1. OMG, I hope to god that drinking 2-3 mugs of tea a day is healthy. I probably drink like 5+, especially when I’m at work, although it’s really just the one teabag used over and over and over again. I’ve been doing it for years and haven’t noticed any adverse effects… so I think we’re good? I hope we’re good. 😂

I’ve never done any sort of apple-picking before! Definitely on my list one day. 💕

  2. I love autumn too! Pumpkin anything is great and I love apple picking and going to the pumpkin patch, etc. It’s all so wonderful! Congrats on your award & thanks for nominating me!!

  3. I love burning candles in fall too. I don’t really get to do it though because I live in a dorm and we’re not allowed to have them. It’s heartbreaking 😦 lol But every time I go home, I always light one!
    Thanks for the tag!

  4. Oooh, thank you for nominating me, I’ve never been nominated for an award before! 😀

I always dream of all fall activities like corn mazes and pumpkin patches, and then I remember that I live in a grey, dreary part of the world in which fall just means rain, rain, rain…. 😥

  5. Autumn is THE BEST <3. Which is why I was pretty bummed that it was 20 degrees here yesterday. But reading your answers here gets me back into the right autumn zone again :D. It all depends on the kind of tea you're drinking, really! If it doesn't contain any liquorice or other spices/herbs that can be harmful in higher doses, heck, you can drink even more of it :3. Especially if it's green tea because it can make you lose weight <3.
