Top Ten Tuesday: Newest Fandoms

Happy Tuesday!! This week’s Top Ten Tuesday theme is a fandom freebie, so I’ve decided to share the top ten fandoms that I’ve most recently become a part of. This semester in particular has been particularly fruitful in the fandom department. In no particular order, here are ten things that I’ve recently become a fan of:

What are your newest fandoms? Are you a fan of any of the things I’ve mentioned? Let me know in the comments section below!

    1. I completely agree!!! I rewatched the first season with my mom over winter break because she had never seen Stranger Things before, and watching it again made me want the second season even more!! πŸ™‚

      1. Haha! I am trying to get my dad to watch, he loves the horror genre and I heard that they pull from Stephen King in some of their episodes, and that’s his favorite author, plus he grew up in the 80s!

    1. Same!! I rewatched the first season over winter break and it made me even more excited (and impatient!) for the next season to come out. I wish it was being released in the summer instead of in the fall.

  1. I really like Tangled, although Moana and Brave are my favourites. Oh, also Frozen, the Lion King, Tangled, Beauty and The Beast… WHATEvER THEY”RE ALL MY FAVOURITES. I started watching Gilmore Girls and it was good but i didn’t have time for it? Also what is Twin Peaks because I keep hearing about it on the inter webs.

    1. hahaha there are too many amazing Disney movies to list!! I feel the exact same way about Gilmore Girls. I think I’ve watched six or seven episodes of the first season and I really enjoyed it, but I just don’t have time to sit down and watch a million long episodes.
OMG TWIN PEAKS. So it’s this show from the 90s (I think) about a high school girl who gets murdered in this small town at the very beginning of the first episode and the rest of the show (there are only two seasons) is about trying to figure out who killed her. I still have one season left but I love it so much! ❀

    1. Squirrel Girl is so fun to read!! It’s the first comic series that I’ve ever read and I’m really loving it so far. I definitely recommend it πŸ™‚

  2. My best friend keeps telling me to watch Stranger Things, but I am in such a TV show slump that I haven’t watched anything since last year.. First of all when I’m out of this slump I will watch all the Marvel things, then I’ll see about other shows..

    1. Definitely keep Stranger Things on your list of shows to watch– once you watch the first episode I guarantee you’ll be hooked. It’s not that far off from a Marvel-ish feel (I mean it’s obviously different, but the same kind of quality is there). Best of luck getting out of your TV show slump! πŸ™‚

    1. Oooh, it’s so hard to pick just one! I would say that my favorite new fandom is probably Twin Peaks, because it’s what I’m currently in the middle of watching. I haven’t been able to watch any of it since winter break because I’ve been so busy with course work, so I’m dying to continue on with the next season!!

I’ve never heard of Him & Her, but I’ll definitely have to check it out!

    1. I just started watching Friends over this past winter break and it’s so good! I’m still on the first season but I can tell that I’m going to breeze right through the show this summer πŸ™‚

    1. I’ve never watched The Big Bang Theory, but my friends in high school all LOVED it and they tried so hard to get me to watch it. I’ll have to keep it on my list of things to watch eventually!

  3. I love that the live-action Cinderella is one of your newest fandoms!! I am literally obsessed with that movie and I’m always happy to see more people discovering it! I love Tangled and Friends as well πŸ™‚
