Happy Tuesday!! This week’s Top Ten Tuesday topic (hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl) asks us to share books by some of our favorite authors that we haven’t read (yet). Because I’ve had very little time to read lately and much of my reading is dictated by class reading lists, this particular list of mine could go on for miles. In the interest of time, here are just ten:
What books by your favorite authors have you yet to read? What do you think of the books on my list? Let me know in the comments section below!
Yours,
HOLLY
I haven’t read any of these! At some point when I’ve got some time on my hands, I’ll read Tolkien!

I always feel so guilty when I remember I haven’t read everything by my favourite authors haha. In some cases I have to admit I simply have no interest in some of their other works, but still 🙈

Same! I’d really love to read everything that William Faulkner and Wills Cather have read, but that will take a while 🙂

I love The Silmarillion! If you like audiobooks and can find it, there is a version narrated by Martin Shaw that is fantastic!

Thanks for the recommendation! I’ll definitely check it out 🙂

It’s so hard to read “fun” books while you’re in school! Good luck with it. I hope you get to some of these and that they’re AWESOME 🙂
Happy TTT!

Great list! Finnikin of the Rock was really good and Villette was wonderful. I remember Love In the Time of the Cholera being really good too, but I read it at the same time that I read a lot of magical realism books so I think that it kind of got caught up in the mix and I don’t remember it that well. Adichie also made my list: https://franlaniado.wordpress.com/2018/09/25/top-ten-tuesday-books-by-my-favorite-authors-that-i-still-havent-read/

The Voyage Out is certainly not a typical Woolf novel – I’m curious to hear what you think of it! I’ve only just read Villette, which is a fascinating ( if somewhat strange) book…

I’m really looking forward to reading them both!

I highly recommend Villette! I’m sure I’ve said it before, but it’s better than Jane Eyre. And only less popular, I assume, because it’s too long for a lot of people to want to read. 😦

I always love how you have classics on your bookish lists — your blog was actually the key inspiration for me to make the switch from reading just YA to more classics, and I love the addition of classics into my life so, so much! 😊 I hope you get around to reading these book eventually in the future!

I’ve yet to read JK Rowling’s not Potter books. I’ve heard she started a mystery series, but there’s already so much I must read, and so little time.
