Top Ten Tuesday: Books I’ve Read by Auto-Read Authors

Happy Tuesday! This week’s Top Ten Tuesday topic (hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl) asks us to share our auto-buy authors—in other words, authors whose books we would automatically buy without even really knowing what their new book was about beforehand. Personally, there are few authors whose books I would automatically purchase, but there are many authors whose books I might automatically read. I’ve made several TTT lists on this topic in the past (which I will link here and here), so today I’m going to do something a little different. In no particular order, here are ten books I read precisely because they were written by some of my auto-read authors at the time:

Do you have any auto-read authors? What books have you read because of this? What do you think of the books on my list? Any recommendations based on these authors? Let me know in the comments section below!

Yours,
HOLLY

  1. This was a fun list to write! I’m interested in trying Sarah Dessen’s books ever since I listened to her podcast episode with Yin Chang on 88 Cups of Tea. As someone who is new to Dessen, which book would you recommend I start with?

    1. Oooh so many good ones to choose from! I’d recommend an oldie to start, so maybe The Truth About Forever, Along for the Ride, or Just Listen. But The Moon and More is my favorite, so that’s also a great one! 🙂

  2. Great list! I like your twist on this week’s theme! I’ve had The Raven Boys on my TBR for a while – so many people seem to love it! 😊 I also just looked up Saving Francesca which I’ve never heard of and it sounds really good! 💛
