The Reading Rush has officially come and gone, and I had the best time! I’ve participated in the Booktubeathon (what it used to be called) several times before, but I have to say that this year has been my favorite yet. The website fostered a real sense of community and I was asked to host twitter sprints this year, which was a complete surprise and something that I never ever thought I would be asked to do. I was a bit nervous at first, but my two-hour session went so incredibly well and I still can’t believe how lovely people were. If you participated in my breakfast-themed sprints, thank you so much!

In total, I read 1882 pages. (!!!) Before the Reading Rush started I decided on a TBR (see my post here) with five books that fit the reading challenges. Somehow I actually stuck to my TBR this time? And read every single book on it? I’m honestly very proud of myself because this very rarely happens!
My favorite book of the Reading Rush was definitely Everything I Know About Love by Dolly Alderton. A friend recommended this to me earlier this summer and I’m so glad I finally got around to reading it–it was just what I needed!

There were fourteen badges you could earn, so I think I did pretty well! I didn’t expect to read seven books or a thousand pages in a week, so I’m really pleased with my progress. All in all, I had such a wonderful week participating in the Reading Rush! I look forward to this readathon every summer because it’s such a great way to knock a bunch of books off your TBR, chat with other bookworms, and feel more involved in the bookish community.
