Herbert Mason’s writing in his interpretation of The Epic of Gilgamesh is simultaneously simple and striking. I love this quote because it really captures the impact that others can unknowingly have on something. It also suggests that healing and recovering from a bad experience is certainly possible with time, support, and awareness. I definitely recommend this epic story!
